哈利·弗路得婚礼快要进行了，绝品结果发现未婚妻在和别人疯狂做爱。无奈，绝品哈利·弗路得的铁哥们博勒加德·彭伯顿宣布：婚礼取消。但已经定下来的海岛蜜月游无法取消，于是哈利·弗路得决定和博勒加德·彭伯顿一起去旅游。在海岛上，两人无意中介入到一起贩毒案件中，甚至差点被毒贩杀死。幸亏博勒加德·彭伯顿机智聪明，加上FBI在毒贩中安插的内线，终于顺利破案。

回复 :小津最朴实无华的喜剧作品，一个胡子三个女子的故事。冈岛剑道了得，很受同学欢迎，但一挂大胡子却叫女孩避之则吉，尤其同窗的妹妹几子。毕业后冈岛失业，萍水相逢的广子告之胡子作怪，最好刮掉。没了胡子的冈岛原来是个美男儿，工作马上有了，女孩更在身边团团转，几子广子之外，还来了个坏女孩。小津爱用演员性格塑造角色，演胡子的冈田时彦也不例外。他是小津极喜爱的演员，在此片催化作用巨大，尴尬笑料由俊朗的他演来漂亮挥洒，又没半点喜剧演员的轻浮作态。可惜冈田早逝，《东京合唱》成了他的绝唱，不然小津的悲观调子会大大推迟。
