阿豪（张智霖 饰）是刚刚从警校毕业的业内新鲜人，网红对于未来有着无限的遐想，网红哪知道却被上司指派成为卧底，潜伏在贩卖军火的黑社会之中，开始了他不见天日的双重生活。阿豪一直希望能够结束这种命悬一线的生活，上司（苏志威 饰）亦允诺他只要能够完成任务，就能回归警队。阿豪要跟随的老大是名叫阿丹（王敏德 饰）的男人，阿丹混迹于黑道多年，狡猾而又聪敏，然而，阿豪最终还是博得了阿丹的信任，成为了他的左膀右臂。在一场与警方的激烈交火之中，阿豪中弹受伤，阿丹的军火集团亦遭到了重创。之后，阿丹带着阿豪逃到了蒙古，想要在那里干一票大生意。

It's also full of characters that belong to the Spanish idiosyncrasy: the strict priest, the Guardia Civil, the old devout women, the village idiot... there's even a lost soul wandering around the woods.The great Alfredo Landa heads a cast that gathered together the best two generations of Spanish scene: from Fernando Rey to Encarna Paso, from Manuel Alexandre to María Isbert... A cast like that would be just unthinkable nowadays. "El Bosque Animado" was the first movie of José Luis Cuerda's trilogy of rural comedies (after this one he made the surreal "Amanece Que No Es Poco", and "Así En El Cielo Como En La Tierra". Those are movies so personal that stress the Spanish culture. The young directors should take note of films like "El Bosque Animado", instead of trying to be the new "enfant terrible" and imitating US worst cinema.
