故事描写一名在法国红灯区巡逻的警员，社区书竟然爱上了当地一名妓女爱玛。为了要成为她唯一的入幕之宾，社区书不惜伪装成英国的贵族前往光顾，但如此伪装却为他带来了很多麻烦，因此，警员决定杀死这个捏造出来的贵族，恢复原来身份，不料巴黎警方误会他真的杀了人，将他逮捕入狱。为了跟心爱的爱玛姑娘重逢，他必须绝地逢生。

Soon she is entangled with a troubled eight year old boy obsessed with Westerns, and the local estate agent whose awkward interpersonal skills continually undermine his attempts to seduce her.
