回复 :一代歌后姚小蝶（刘雅丽 饰）自加拿大返港，准备在即将拆除的丽花皇宫进行一场纪念演出，这里是当年她和露露（罗冠兰 饰）、莲茜（冯蔚蘅）、凤萍（苏玉华）三名姐妹歌唱事业起步的地方。六十年代，东南亚的战争阴云对香港也多有波及，此时的四姐妹在丽花皇宫刚刚开始自己的演唱之路，凤萍被烂赌的男友拖累，有孕在身却经常入不敷出，最后消失在混乱的南洋，为四姐妹无忧无虑的日子画上了句号。小蝶属意乐队萨克斯风手家豪（吴大维 饰），但后者意识到小蝶的前途会远比自己灿烂，遂留下一曲《我和春天有个约会》，消失在茫茫人海……本片根据香港话剧团名剧改编，演员基本由原版话剧班底组成。
回复 :二十世纪七十年代，年轻的苏格兰医生尼古拉斯•哥瑞肯（James McAvoy 詹姆斯•麦艾维 饰）踌躇满志，怀着为穷苦人民救死扶伤的伟大理想来到了贫困的乌干达。在此他结识了医学会的白人同事，美丽的莎拉（Gillian Anderson 吉莉•安德森 饰），深深为之所吸引 。某次集会上，尼古拉斯得以见到乌干达总统安迪•阿明（Forest Whitaker 福里斯特•惠特克 饰），阿明的言论使尼古拉斯甚为着迷，甚至狂热崇拜。集会之后，他救助了因事故受伤的阿明，并因其苏格兰人身份受到赏识。之后更以总统御用医生的身份走近这位残暴君主……影片改编自Giles Foden的同名小说，男主角福里斯特•惠特克凭借此片获得第79届奥斯卡奖最佳男主角奖。
