在民风淳朴的关中地区，折寿棺材铺老板宋宝（黄艺馨饰）为了还清赌债，折寿不得不到处兜售棺材，最后让一家丧事过得极其疯狂而离奇，充满了黑色幽默的味道，荒诞而又真实。在经过生死考验之后，他逐渐明白人生的意义，对此前几十年人生做了彻底的总结，而村里最傻的人却成为了戏里最勇敢生命力最顽强最有人格魅力的人。
