回复 :张仪是秦国的丞相，此次来楚就是破坏东方六国的团结，鼓吹“连横”，以利秦国各个击破。楚王听从了屈原的劝告，拒绝了张仪。但张仪去走南后郑袖的门路，想搬掉屈原这个障碍。南后是个凶狠阴险的女人，一面指示上官大夫靳尚加害屈原，一面亲自出面陷害屈原。她请屈原来到宫中，就在楚怀王就要进宫的时候，她假装头晕，扑倒在屈原怀里。等楚王进来，她装出委屈的样子，诬告屈原调戏她。楚王大怒，免了屈原左徒[1] 的官职。在南后的努力下，楚王接受了张仪的“连横”计划，与东方各国绝交，张仪成为楚国的座上宾。一次，他与南后外出时遇到屈原，南后戏弄屈原。屈原悲愤交加，大声斥责南后和张仪。楚王命令将屈原关进东皇太一庙。太卜郑詹接到女儿南后郑袖的密令，要毒死屈原。屈原的侍女婵娟来看望屈原，屈原不知酒中有毒，将毒酒送给婵娟解渴。婵娟饮下毒酒，中毒身亡，却为能替屈原死而深感欣慰。屈原为她展帛哀诵《橘颂》。
