回复 :1997年，泡沫经济崩溃后，日本金融界陷入危机。银行也由于巨额不良债权问题处在生死存亡的关头。在此背景下，大型城市银行之一的三叶银行开始实施“批量转让”，即将回收困难的不良债权打包出售给投资公司。三叶银行资产流动化开发室室长芝野健夫（渡部笃郎 饰）负责这一日本国内的首次尝试。他就债权转让问题与外资投资公司“Horizon Japan Partners”的代表鹫津政彦（绫野刚 饰）见面了。芝野提出希望最少能以300亿日元的价格收购价值723亿6458万日元的债权，对此鹫津表示会认认真真地进行核定，而芝野却因他的这种态度产生了一丝不安。除芝野以外，三叶银行的所有人都对核定结果满怀期待，然而等到四周后答复的那一天，芝野和同事们从鹫津口中听到了一个极其令人震惊的价格。三叶银行常务董事饭岛亮介（小林薰 饰）对外资企业“秃鹫”的戏耍感到气愤不已，他主动提出自己要亲自负责第二次的批量转让。面对说出“只为三叶工作”的饭岛，芝野…？另一方面，鹫津遭到了因批量转让被自己收入囊中的债务人的怒骂，恰好在场的“东京世纪王冠酒店”的前厅经理松平贵子（泽尻英龙华 饰）看到了这一幕…
