回复 :公元2026年，在浩淼的银河系中，有一颗住着机器人的行星——“ 哈帝星”，由于哈帝星科技高速发展，机器人社会即将面临能源短缺的危机。好在学究犀牛博士研究发现了一种叫做“ 梦多拉晶石”的宇宙物质，能作为哈帝星的补充能源。为解决哈帝星能源危机，红宝等机器人组成V5战队，执行追踪回收梦多拉晶石的任务。可惜新成立的V5战队第一次出任务就意外出错，导致梦多拉晶石坠入行星“地球”上，晶石碎片散落在一个名为“西童镇”的小城市。 V5战队由此肩负起到地球回收晶石的任务。
回复 :某天，时隔10年回到日本的少年一希东，突然遭到武装男子们的袭击，并被囚禁起来。而救出了东的人，是青梅竹马的少女朝吹黄金，以及有着右手形态、拥有意志的武器“舞武器”。知道了“舞武器”的存在，以及自身也是“舞武器使者”的东，与遇到的同伴们一起，为了让沉眠于地下、被称为“王舞”的舞乱伎（巨人）复活而开始行动。
