年幼的徐俊英从小与在美军基地村经营酒廊的母亲相依为命，风起孤单而寂寞，风起唯一的乐趣是躲在属于自己的秘密基地创作歌曲。一日，俊英遇见了夜总会一名新舞台歌手的女儿朴慧仁。双目失明的慧仁那双清澈的眼睛和温暖的笑颜，都让俊英怦然心动，俊英总是默默地守在她的左右。正当俊英（权相宇饰）成长为英俊少年时，慧仁（金喜善饰）却被姑妈带走前往汉城，俊英也被汉城的亲生父亲改名为车俊奎，开始了新的人生。在新学校里，俊英与朋友李健宇（延政勋饰）结下了深厚的友谊。几经辗转，俊英终于与慧仁命运般地重逢，而此刻慧仁又将被继父带往美国，两人再次分别。来到美国留学的健宇偶然间遇见了仿佛天使般的慧仁，也深深地爱上了她。

From all appearances, the death appears to be a suicide, but the pathologist determines that the man suffered a severe blow to the dead and may in fact have been unconscious when he died of carbon monoxide poisoning. Simon Bright's girlfriend, Laura Sharp, is nowhere to be found, but the death of the aging village Lothario and the attempted murder of another of her friends narrows the list of possible murderers somewhat.
